페넘 II 940은 인텔의 요크필드 9550과 9400의 중간급 성능, 920은 요크필드 8200과 9300의 중간급 성능을 나타내고 AMD 45나노 제조공정의 초기 모델임을 감안할때 앞으로 수율 안정화에 따른 오버클럭 능력과 클럭적 부분의 성능향상 부분을 기대 해볼수 있습니다. 현재 AMD 제품군의 가격적인 메리트를 볼때 페놈 II는 충분한 경쟁력이 있는 모델로 평가 할 수 있습니다. 다만 표에서도 확인할수 있듯이 네할렘은 한세대 다른급의 높은 퍼포먼스를 유지하고 있기 때문에 amd가 하이엔드 라인업의 일정수준까지는 격차를 좁혔으나 네할렘의 거대한 장벽이 아직까지 amd에겐 풀어야 할 과제로 남아있습니다.
